Listened to all of it for my sins; sounded like a group therapy session for Arsenal fans.

Totally agree! Feel like it's more a matter of emphasis, but a lot of the pre-distribution types talk as if it's the only thing that matters (when I'm sure if pressed, they'd acknowledge the importance of the welfare state, etc.)
Everyone on that podcast sounded like an Arsenal fan...City were hardly mentioned at all.
No, and I didn't mean to imply that. My point was simply that pre-distribution is not the panacea people often make it out to be.
Bruenig clearly does not disagree with your point re: structuring the economy; he's for sectorial bargaining and other wage compression policies. His point is that pre-distribution can never be sufficient since the market only generates income for workers and half the population doesn't work.
Awesome! Thx
How did you watch it?

Was waiting for that ingenious reply; congratulations.
Your lovely relationship with your dog is endearing. We lost our Watson a couple of months ago and it still hurts. But I always smile when I see a picture of Bento.
I also find it really funny that City gifted Arsenal's only goal, and that without Donnarumma's error it would have easily been at least 2- or 3-nil.
So odd, yet not surprising, that the media narrative is entirely focused on Arsenal (can they still do it; what to make of Arteta, etc.) and almost no one is talking about what a great comeback story it would be if City win the league in a transition season (and what a credit to Pep it would be).
Don't follow hockey, but I had one student in my class wearing a Penguins jersey and she was seated next to another student who was wearing a Flyers jersey :)
Uh oh...
That’s a great stat
That‘s shocking, but not surprising, given the way each team played yesterday
Was definitely a howler, but there isn’t a football player in the world, either in the outfield or between the sticks, who will not sometimes make a mistake.
Every keeper will make mistakes. Look at Trafford vs. Spurs at the beginning of the season.
Wolves are officially relegated.

Wonderful!
Does anyone know what Halland said/sang into the camera when the whistle blew yesterday?
Worst fans in the world
Yup, and because of all the attention he gets from defenders, he creates opportunities for others.
Fantastic performance from him today. His mentality is on another level
