Yeah, you start to notice the pattern. They'll have some wizard cast a massive spell and (despite none of the younger wizards seeming physically engaged) he'll be left pale faced and bent over, his heart racing and his breathing heavy.
They don't understand exhaustion independent of being winded.

Also as an aging narcoleptic? I know ball. Most of you are writing tiredness wrong. I don't blame you, you're young and connect all tiredness with being winded. You don't understand when your breath is smooth and even but your bones are numb, your limbs heavy and sluggish. It's very different.
Does your capacity to channel these forces diminish? Do minds and souls once limber and flexible find the flows of power slipping out of their grasp? Do the graven runes fade as other memories do and become dangerous, imperfect tools? There's so many cooler concepts of aging than just tiredness.
I'm reading a fantasy novel and as the author addressed it, I was struck by how rarely authors world build into their magic systems any sense of senescence. Aging will inevitably diminish us all, and it's weird how fantasy authors will build robust magical systems but do not consider aging in them.
Sometimes you see grown men projecting their own sense of inadequacy onto strangers and it would be pitiable if it wasn't so repulsive. Get therapy, blokes. The rest of us don't battle the demons you've been losing to, and you don't have to either. Externalizing your battle doesn't make us allies. ๐คท๐ฟโโ๏ธ
TL;DR: We have had an unusual string of scientists tied with nuclear or space research end up missing or dead this year. Last I checked the count, we're up to 11 unusual cases. The House is finally investigating the pattern.
"Doc, I'm worried because I haven't changed my materials but the filament is printing out the wrong color..."
Lemme say something I don't believe at all, but that gets the mind a-firing...
Perhaps the missing scientists are part of something larger? Imagine, scientists around the world being quietly whisked away in increasing numbers and brought to a stargate.
Almost certainly not, but one likes to muse.
It occurs to me that I have never heard someone say the words "you're a joy to have around" in an unsarcastic manner. Not just to me, to anyone. Ever. Huh.
Rhumb line networks! Used by sailors to correctly judge bearing as they left various ports of call.
And now you're going to think about it in weird moments. ๐คฃ
You can tell that they don't have any smart folks thinking about their user base, because this is not a man who wants a recording the police can check.
Their whole industry, culture, and psychology hinges on their audience never accepting this. On their viewers never being satisfied with who they are without a room full of strangers agreeing they're doing it right. It quite literally would end them if that changed.
The most terrifying idea arising from trans acceptance for manosphere influencers is that the solution is not and has never been to be the right kind of man. It's to accept that whatever kind of man you are IS the right kind of man, and that any performance beyond that exists only for other people.

TL;DR:
1) Write your screenshot method to return the screenshot.
2) Create and start a thread running that function.
3) Use the thread's is_alive to check if it's done.
4) Collect the screenshot from the thread using wait_to_finish
Bonus points if you use await to just give in a second.
(1/2) I don't know of a specific tutorial but I can answer your problem. It's because you're trying to take a screenshot on your game's main thread. The trick is to write the save function with the intention of calling it on a separate thread so it doesn't lag your main one.
Shower thought: Every person is a bioprinter, we just have limited control over what we extrude. ๐ฌ
Someone told me one of my vfx would be more satisfying if it arced. Cue me calculating a slanted ellipse that includes both initial and terminal point along its circumference and then writing a tween method that moves the emitter from point A to point B using their radian locations to arc. #gamedev๐ตโ๐ซ
Me: I think these fantasy matchups are so silly. Only the writer really controls who wins.
Also me: ...nah, Sword Saint Isshin is bodying Malenia the Rot Goddess, Ioncare. He's probably not surviving the fight, but you've already seen he doesn't give a damn and she is NAWT surviving a mortal blade.
"I have not failed, I have just found ten thousand people who wouldn't let me steal or discredit their idea." -Thomas Edison. Allegedly.
I genuinely don't know how I'd react if either came on as I sat at a funeral... A horrified guffaw, I think.
Right? Like human trafficking is a very real problem. It traditionally looks basically nothing like this.
I swear I read this and thought "Really? Usher? That's... a choice. I'm guessing a lot of side pieces finally meeting the spouse at the funeral? Odd flex." ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Kleptocrats gonna kleptocrat. ๐คท๐ฟโโ๏ธ
Folks share these convoluted conspiracy theories about why 3 skittles on your windowframe is some sort of bat signal to human traffickers. Y'all understand we have phones that can share photos and bundle GPS data with every pic right? I promise they don't need to reinvent the underground railroad.
Yeah, no. I don't care what anyone says, they should either have to replace it or match *current market prices* in their refund. The customer couldn't have known about the change in price either and relied upon the belief they would be able to replace it as part of its sales pitch. Cruddy behavior.
Yes, emerald deposits do frequently look like someone dropped pretty green cylinders into cruddy quickset and somehow they got stuck.
Yeah, copper deposits often look like metallic moss growing through the rocks with flashes of green from corrosion.
A real hunk of emerald ore, a giant hexagonal cylinder of ore sticking out of the rock.
A Minecraft cube of stone with random flecks of green marking it as emerald ore.
A brown and green mottled rock which is a real hunk of copper ore.
From World of Warcraft, a nondescript pale brown stone with large orange hunks of copper marking it as a copper ore deposit.
A funny experience of being both a fan of games and a fan of minerals: 99% of games do not show mineral deposits realistically, and so it's trippy when you realize how weird nature gets. Examples below...
I think that gets lost in the mix a lot. The *reason* those forms of bigotry get a lot of attention is because if we're not vigilant, existing power structures enable them with little consequence. That doesn't mean *you* have to let anyone mistreat you for any reason. BE that consequence for them. ๐คท๐ฟโโ๏ธ
Sometimes I'll explain to someone how bigotries like misogyny/racism/homophobia/transphobia are systemically facilitated and enshrined and they'll get this indignant face like "So if it runs the other way, I just have to take it?"
No babe, you can treat people being mean to you however you like...
