Thursday morning was cycling to an event on electric trucks and followed one of them. They are so quiet. They are so not stinky. They are great.
If company X gets a robot assistant that saves them 20 minutes of human time while costing me 60 minutes of human time society as a whole is less efficient but since my time does not count it looks like an efficiency gain

Probably 20% of my camera roll is pictures of various kinds of public transport - here is just a tiny sample.

My favourite variant of “people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones” is a colloquial (and extremely rare) Swedish phrase that goes kasta inte bäver i trähus. It means “do not throw beavers in wooden houses.”
And of the Festungsbahn funicular of course - 100m up in 30 seconds - it was raining at the bottom, but snowing at the top (am I dreaming or did there used to be a funicular emoji?)

The first tram test run over the longest bridge in Finland was done today. The 1,2 km Kruunuvuorensilta bridge will connect the island of Laajasalo to Helsinki city centre with
hig frequency public transport routes. The bicycle superhighway and pedestrian route opens this spring, trams run in 2027.
Very important to remember that Paris proper is incredibly urban (almost 70% car free) and its urbanist policies are different from that of the more car owning suburbs, which in say Germany tend to be part of the city proper
