Berlin Marathon #2. Marathon #20. A tough, but rewarding race. My 3rd of 4 marathons in 2025 in aid of Irish humanitarian organization, GOAL. Final Hurdle: Dublin Marathon in October.
The same way Great Britain held a poll to decide the partition of Ireland? (Oh......hang on a second)
Early morning run around Dublin City. Main reflections: Filthy (with rubbish from last night's revellers). Menacing (drunks, addicts). Derelict (so many b buildings in shocking state). Saw ZERO Garda presence. Spotted 3 lone council workers attempting to clean up. We could do so much better.

1st half marathon where the 3 of us participated together! And not a bad day out for me - 245th overall (out of c.3,800) & 9th in AG. First time under 1h40 for the half in about 6 years! 🤩
Feeling a little creative (and maybe emotional) this week.
Boston 2025 marks the end of a 12 year journey to my 6th ⭐
So many emotions brewing in advance of Monday - pride, relief, thanks, excitement, nervousness, appreciation, even a little bit of sadness/regret

This St. Patrick's Day, we pay tribute to Irish people making remarkable contributions to societies in which they live around the world and showcasing the very best of what it means to be Irish ☘️

Happy #StPatricks Day!
Myself and Tommy in 2022 in Melifont Abbey, Ireland.
Today we interred Tommy's ashes to rest with mam & dad.
RIP brother........😢

Welcome to the USSA?
👀😉
People are 1) cowed by fears of being branded (falsely) as anti-semitic, 2) and many in the corporate world are silenced by cowardly corporate policies that 'discourages' political comment and 3) some are worried about 'upsetting' blindly pro-Isreali employers or partners.
Trump hasn't even ever been to Vienna....😉
Couldn't agree more Julian. The omerta of silence on this among otherwise decent minded people is shocking.........
Welcome to the other side! 💙
