I made enough money off of it, so my first and favorite game I made is now totally free. It Takes This Long is a two-player game about estranged people stranded on a desert island together with crazy stuff like dinosaurs and unexploded nukes.

It doesn't have the extra bells and whistles I had planned, but Galleons of the Thunderosa is a good little 99-percent standalone TTRPG that can be plugged into your favorite game. Live your Wacky Races dreams with your friends for just $2!

Failing to fund Galleons of the Thunderosa was... tough. My first failed crowdfunder.
So I decided to do three pretty cool things:
1. Released Galleons of the Thunderosa anyway
2. Made my first game, It Takes This Long, free
3. Released the ashcan version of a new game, Gunpointing
NEW EPISODE!

The "every podcast has these three guys" meme. Jensie is Bigfoot/Harry from Harry and the Hendersons, Ben is Big Bird from Sesame Street, and Alex is Bugs Bunny. (They're names are written over which character they are)
We came to this conclusion, btw
Not your toothbrush.
A timer with a graphic of a shiny hot dog that says 'dog choke WR attempt'
You're missing out if you don't watch it on Youtube, btw
Hey, I've only got a couple of days left on the Galleons of the Thunderosa campaign, and it looks like it's not going to fund. I've mostly accepted this, but if it miraculously got funded, it would make my YEAR. I'm pretty proud of my Wacky Racing TTRPG!

Oh shit! I wrote that! (In theory, I am finishing writing that. I swear I'm gonna get there, finishing things is scary. Kickstarters are even scarier.)
Gonna listen to this throughout my day, you should too.
Jensie and Ben are on a special standalone one-shot of @avoidpod.bsky.social playing Janet Doe and Canter "Can't" Hitchcock as they execute a heist of famous child actor Calvin McCathy's fast-food themed birthday party! We're playing HEIST by @madpierrot.design!

Characters standing in a white void with the artist's signature next to them: SKETCH. From left: A jackrabbit with a pegleg stirring mac and cheese, a boy with brown hair and tan skin dressed like a baseball umpire and holding a baseball bat with a smirk, a pretty teen boy in a tuxedo with pale skin and blonde hair and a rapier on his hip, A white guy in a white sci-fi suit with a helmet under his arm and a scarf and aviator sunglasses and a beard and spiky hair, behind him is a big blue car man wearing a duster with stars on it, a young white teen boy with a blue shirt and tan pants and blue sneakers and a satchel, and a stocky man with a moustache wearing a red workers' jumpsuit with blue pockets and sleeves and a newsie cap and crazy sci fi boots holding a wooden hammer
Today is Alex's birthday and it's a Big One, so we commissioned @sketchisnotreal.bsky.social to illustrate some of his iconic characters from Roleplay Retcon! First person* to guess who's who gets a high five!

A photo of the table set up prior to playing City of Winter.
On Friday, I last minute subbed as a facilitator for a City of Winter game at my FLGS. Overall went well (still a bit rusty - haven’t run anything in person since last year).
So well in fact that I am running it again for the folks at @roleplayretcon.bsky.social in a few days. Can’t wait! #ttrpg

Mario and his girlfriend Daniella from the live action Super Mario Bros. movie. They're at an Italian restaurant. Daniella is a pretty white woman with curly black hair wearing a low cut black dress. Mario is played by Bob Hoskins; he has a moustache and is slightly balding and is wearing a brown jacket and a dark shirt with a popped collar. Both are wearing non descript necklaces.
Bob Hoskins Mario and Big Bertha dancing in the live action Mario Bros. Movie. Big Bertha is a black woman nearly a foot taller than Mario. Mario is wearing a bizarre yellow leisure suit with yellow gloves. They are in a night club.
She's great. Really. I hope she finds happiness. But she's standing in the way of the movie's best ship.

When I was
A young boy
I dreamed of making video games.
Turns out, I don't know how to do that. I don't just mean I don't know how to code, I mean I discovered I have no sense for designing levels, etc. But I did have a slight knack for coming up with a cool central mechanic.
