It should be noted that the trail should be open to the public again sometime in early 2026.
The 3rd phase of restoration has begun on the Big Canyon Trail. The crew is busy sun up to sun down removing invasive plants and creating more wetlands. I am very excited to see what the restoration looks like a few years from now.
