I watched the former today—similar in tone to some films by Morisaki Azuma, it’s a sexy comedy with serious undertones, though not entirely successful, I would say…
lots of nudity a bit exploitative at times...
Taichi Kiwako had one of the most magnetic presences on the big screen...
Gifu Royal Theater is screening two of her films: 喜劇・女の泣きどころ (Segawa Masaharu, 1975) and Tora-san's Sunrise and Sunset (1976), one of my favourite entries in the Tora-san series.
