This charmer and her husband have just been sent to prison for racially abusing a Filipino nurse. Such a shame, as she would have been a brilliant Reform candidate.

He wants to challenge Farage for the leadership. Having failed to oust Badenoch. That's why he's defected.

Screenshot of polling data from Jan 2025

The UK would now want to rejoin the EU by 55% to 33%

Removing those that don’t know - that’s a 62.5% to 37.5% breakdown.

Poll of YouGov data on European army with UK included.

Poll of YouGov data on European army with UK included.

💥 Well how about that.

After years of Brexiteers saying we had to leave the EU to avoid being forced into a European army…

… it turns out that Brits are fine with the idea. With the UK explicitly included.

A plurality of Tory voters support it - and even a fair chunk of Reform.

How times change…

We need to change the way of things.
The world is in such a precarious state, we have to declare our allegiance to what is right, not to what is traditionally expected of us.
We need to immediately realign ourselves to our European neighbours & call out the vile, tawdry dealings of Trumps America.

@bbclaurak.bsky.social why is Gillian Keegan a panel guest on your programme this morning? She's a member of the public, that's all.

That means revenue support. Which needs to be raised from somewhere. Parking charges is one option, fuel duty another. Unfortunately, most people living in the countryside think both are a fundamental abuse of their human rights. So, no buses then.

You know what?

The EU & UK should put tariffs on US goods (from red states) in solidarity with Canada and Mexico.

Rather than watching others get bullied and waiting our turn - we should unify against this bullying until the bully drops that behaviour.

So with the best will in the world, these marvellous global opportunities generate 0.6% benefit against a 4% disbenefit, giving the UK a net drag of 3.4%. Sunlit uplands. PS, Farage won't publish his tax returns either.

Their legislative programme is ambitious. It takes time to get that through the parliamentary process. The first six months will be spent writing proposed legislation and getting first readings tabled.
