Australia believes Olya and Brenda

Ask Ben Shelton and Tommy Paul what you asked Coco about the Trump regime. I dare you!
it's SO INTERESTING that coco is the only American who gets asked about American politics. A riddle.
Wonderful surprise to see a new รฉpisode so soon ๐๐๐ป
In a world of Martina Navratilovas, Riley Gaines and Sharron Davies, be a Billie Jean King, Queen.
So sorry this took so long!
NEW: "The Corporate Sleaze"
The USO is over and we're left with a lingering ick about that orange guy and how the USTA handled it. Of course, we also talk Carlos and Aryna's big wins, commentating outside the lines, and actually protecting women in sport
Fascinating new results on Gen Z from the

"Do you need a mental break ?"
"What ?!?"
"You look like you need a mental break"
Well done Iga ๐ช๐ป๐ช๐ป๐ช๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป
Hopefully one mens match will be very short and one very long...
Yep, she will probably remember these 8 MPs for the rest of her life ๐ญ but I hope she will get over it and be proud of her run.
Well that was a great match, well done to both, and congrats to Barbora, she fought without fear to save these MPs, and kept the momentum in the third. AMAZING.
Well what an end of set and great tiebreak. Impressive shots from Barbora, well done !
8 matchs points to go to a slam QF for Taylor, I really hope she will take the momentum back in the third ๐๐ป๐ช๐พ
I want this soooo much for Townsend. But Barbora is getting more and more focused (and good for her!)
Another pretty grim example of female tennis players being put in threatening positions mid-match.

And her body held up, and she looked happy out there, and there was no apparent sign of her creep of an ex. Roll on week 2 ๐

It reminds me of her great run in 2019, where she lost against the eventual champion Andreescu. Her win against Halep was ๐คฉโค๏ธ
She kept the momentum, no problem, well done Kaja โค๏ธ๐ช๐ป
Nothing ๐
I'm rooting for Muchova as always but at least a Czech will win ๐
And a few seconds after Coco's win, Kaja wins the second set ๐คฉ. Good momentum for the third set
Well done Coco โค๏ธ๐ช๐พ
Fernandez vs. Raducanu comes to mind... (Also too lazy to look it up)
Things that make me unhappy: In my function as Director of Excitement last week I conducted some of the on-court interviews with players. I had the pleasure to interview Wang Xin Yu after her semifinal win. She was hilarious, witty, smart. She had better jokes up her sleeve than most of the comedians on Netflix right now. The WTA, however, posted an edited clip of her answers on their social media that made her sound like EVERY. OTHER. TENNIS. PLAYER. OUT. THERE. The one thing she said about not expecting to be in the final is what they decided to post while all the personality and humour got edited out. These are things that drive me insane as the playersโ distinct personality makes the individual sport of tennis so special. Showcasing (!!) that personality for everyone to see, though, should be the logical first step. Not editing it out.
From Petko's newsletter. The WTA continues to get in its own way ๐
Thank you, Coco ๐ณ๏ธโ๐
Just as Zverev is about to speak at the trophy ceremony, a woman repeatedly shouts:
โAustralia Believes Olya and Brenda! Australia Believes Olya and Brenda!โ
Broke through the silence.
