Agreed, and good to hear he’s throwing on the side or in simulated games on back fields. I thought Royals may roll him out and show he’s healthy, early, to get as much flexibility and interest as possible if a deal might be made.

For posterity and consistency, and because I watched at least 30 tv series this year, I’m ranking my favorite shows of 2025. These are my favorites, and probably (definitely) not really the “best.” As is tradition, no T. Sheridan show is eligible for my list, but Landman wins that division.

“Success Eggs.” Pretty funny

Last day of Royals’ season is the worst day. Pretty excited for next year already, though, especially when GMJJP puts together an actual major league OF for 2026.Time to check flights to AZ for Fall Ball.

You might consider Shoresy, next. Crass and maybe even initially your kind of stupid, but turns out to be hilarious and to have a lot of heart. Better, more subversive, and more sincere than Ted Lasso (but, also, much more vulgar). Also better sports action scenes.

My 16 yo son was just saying he misses Surprise, even though outside the Royals it’s pretty sparse. We stayed at the Surprise RI for 2 days one ST - dining got old real fast but we did run into Sal Perez in an elevator. And Franmil Reyes made fun of our basketball skills on the hotel court.

Seeing and hearing that 8 second video just made my day

I agree - but would also trade 5 road wins over Florida for another win over Kansas. Beating KU is just the best.

I know which one means more to the fans (and me), but was the win over KU at home or beating Florida on the road more important for tournament chances?
