#ttrpg friends! I am searching for a rather niche game/system that I'd like to run. Does anyone know of any indie ttrpgs revolving around crafting like sewing, fiber arts, or art in general? I'm looking to do something on theme for a charity stream TBA.

I want enough money to never be afraid of my health and to commission artists I always wanted.
That's it.
Who designed that the telltale sign of every status effect is a headache? Now I gotta run the list of: water, coffee, food, allergies, sleep, stress, meds, shrimp check, or maybe a mysterious new chronic illness that I have yet to discover.
I am seriously the assist queen with Paige. But I adore her.

Might have pretended to be a Spirit Warden. Might have to face consequences. It'll be *fine*.
Surely, that will have no repercussions, and everything will be fine.

A one shot, turned into a two-episode, and now will be scheduled for a third episode!
Thanks for watching Part 2. To @findoutproductions.bsky.social and @drbubblesphd.bsky.social, thanks for giving my game a home.
I'm gonna follow my own advice: Scream, throw a pillow, cry, hug a loved one. Let myself feel every emotion that comes up and let it sit. The fact that I care isn't weakness, so I need to let myself grieve. I'm gonna take some time to really figure out what the next step is, but today I'll cry.
So today, as we're quickly approaching my 8th anniversary of starting this journey, I think I need to reconsider if I should keep going. It's a really hard loss to know that I don't want to leave, but I can't keep trying to force myself into a club no one wants me at.
I wept over a case while I was doing body prep, and they looked incredible at the end because I cared so deeply about it. I didn't go for fastest or most efficient or least costly when I did it. I went for respectful and dignified. But alas, I am not the norm.
I've had that quality lauded and complimented by supposed mentors. But that's just who I am, I am not 'acting' like I care, I genuinely do. I had some serious losses that lead me here, and it makes it easy for me to feel for my families. Yet, it's somehow my greatest strength and greatest weakness.
Maybe it's the 'tism, but I had a very dear professor once tell me, "Once it stops effecting you, get a new job. We need people who give a shit in this industry." And I took that to heart. I let myself grieve with every family I interacted with. I was always the person the family hugged at the end.
From my experience after nearly a decade here, the people who give a shit are few and far between. They'll say they give a shit, but it's just work to them. The bottom line is more important in a lot of cases. And if you are passionate about it, you're going to get chewed up and spat out.
And the industry itself is already in a tailspin because they refuse to adjust themselves from an arbitrary version of professionalism and ousting people who look different, the pandemic killed or saw the early retirement of a good chunk of staff, then they fight having to hire anyone.
I can't seem to figure out if this is just funeral homes in my state, or the industry as a whole, but the pattern of funeral homes/crematories protecting the old guard, ostracizing the marginalized, and making them the sacrificial lamb is starting to get old. Hell, I saw it at the pet crematory too.
Mind you, in both cases, I was the only left leaning, openly queer, neurodivergent, and empathetic person on staff. Both cases a weird technicality I saw happen by other staffers was an unforgivable sin when I did it. Which never sits right with me. Mind you, nothing I did was illegal/ a liability.
Said coworker that I was warned about not telling her that my wife was trans, and that I probably fucked up by letting her know I was in a queer marriage. So, now it's her word against mine, I'm new, and no one went to bat for me. This is the *second* funeral home that let me go on the first strike.
I lost my job, which is also part of my schooling yesterday. Unceremoniously. Because of a miscommunication with a client. Where something I said was taken out of context, applied over a whole situation I didn't even advise on, then I was promptly thrown under the bus by a coworker.
