I love all of this conversation, partly because I too am no longer interested in the question of separating the art from the artist, precisely because once I know an artist is abusive, I can no longer engage with their art without factoring that in. Also because I can't give money to living abusers.

AJ McLean WENT OFF on this solo album! 10/10 recommend. Long overdue, but also glad he waited til he got it right. #MyNameIsAlexanderJames
It is objectively perfect that people are posting about MTV going off the air forever last night instead of turning on the television and noticing that it did not.
Mamdani's Executive Order Number 1, as described in the post.
I was wondering what Mamdani's first executive order would be, and I'm not disappointed by this.
He has wiped off the books EVERY Eric Adams executive order issued on or after September 26, 2024, the day Adams was indicted on federal bribery charges.
Starting off the new year by being able to watch a marathon of a show you wrote on is a special feeling I didn't know I needed. Shoutout to Bounce for running Act Your Age all day today. Shoutout to everybody watching! #BounceTV #ActYourAge
It's very important we all go back to Twitter, a website as popular with young people as chlamydia.
Going into 2026 like...
I don’t know how to process the horrific fire hose of tragedy that has been omnipresent but has spiked this weekend, and I suspect I’m not alone. We aren’t meant to carry this much suffering and be able to function at “normal” capacity. Be gentle with yourself and others, if you can.
Rob Reiner filmography between 1984 and 1992, which includes This Is Spinal Tap, The Sure Thing, Stand By Me, The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, Misery and A Few Good Men.
This has to be one of the greatest runs any director has ever experienced.
Everyone was brilliant in that show but I always saw some of myself in him. Following his career as a multihyphenate and activist cemented he was the amazing man I thought he was.His impact is beyond words for so many and I can't overstate how much he'll be missed.
All in the Family is 1 of the first shows I ever remember watching and loving. I stayed up so late to catch those reruns on Nick @ Nite and that tone of comedy and the heart that Rob brought to that character changed my life forever.
What. A. Game. Gotta love the NBA Cup! Everyone who laughed at it is very silent rn. Wow. #NBACup
Jokes on them because we learned square/line dancing to Jagged Edge' Let Get Married remix in my school!
This 30 for 30 on Stuart Scott is INCREDIBLE and has ALL THE FEELS. As someone who watched his rise and shine in real time, went to school quoting his latest saying, and couldn't wait to to watch SportsCenter every night it hit especially hard. Much love to the best to ever do it!
What the world needs is love…🫶🏾
Remember when Netflix said they would NEVER have ads. Can't believe everything you hear y'all.
"Who is Bankroll?" is 🔥🔥🔥!!! Bankroll Ni just has it! No further explanation needed. IYKYK.

What we know, 10:30pm:
—Dems flip mayor's office in Roswell, Georgia.
—GOP defends TN-07. Margin shifts blue by ≈14%.
—Solomon crushes McGreevey to become Jersey City mayor; his progressive slate also dominates city council.
—In Atlanta, establishment ahead in most but not all battles vs. left
Judging everybody who posts a Spotify wrapped because how have you not moved on already.
What a plot twist it would be if we dropped Bronny to pick up Chris Paul.
This Chris Paul news is BANANAS! It's amazing how the Clippers continue to find new ways of being a terrible team and organization overall.

The Everybody Loves Raymond Reunion was hilarious, heartfelt, and fun. Now on to the "TV We Love" episode about Cheers. Top tier sitcom night right here.
Just did this and yup, it was turned on for me. Now it's off.
If the parties were reversed here, we’d currently be blanketed with ads and speeches detailing all the crimes that were later committed by people who assaulted police but were pardoned by the president.
Think Willie Horton, but true, and a much larger scale and, uh, not racist?
If you went to the Craft Conference I'd love to know your favorite part of the event.
