Coachella is trying to wipe all of the footage of The Strokes protest set so Iโm gonna post it here. The last images on the screen made me cry.

I added a new shader to my portal asset. Now you can use a texture combined with a mask texture to create more cool portals!

all really swell games worth grabbing! Crowtel and Shooting Saucer are must-buys imo and Vampire's Best Friend is super fun (even if I'm very bad at it)
Hey seriously, literally in the bills it says they'll also use identifying information, such as your age data for "other purposes". That means your data goes into a government surveillance database. This would be for ANY *OS*, which is the thing your fucking PC runs off of.

A snap from the GBC game Armada/FX Racers, a future racer, with a 'Nomad' character, dressed in armour with big sloping pauldrons, sporting a buzzcut hairstyle, and armed with a gun that looks a wee bit like a bulkier M4A1 Pulse Rifle.
'Terran' A brownish-blonde-haired gal wearing a blue tunic with angular pauldrons with what looks like elaborate scifiish gauntlets up to her elbows.
Drakken! I hope this is just an absolute beefake of a gal (<3) in green power armour with blueish midsection and purple gaunlets.
Vorgan, presumably a species name too, who looks like they might have Skeletor's voice and make sneee sounds as they scheme for galactic domination in his conical tech helmet and a form-fitting ribbed bodysuit.
This is rather intricate character design and lovely pixel art for what felt like a budget racer for the GBC, but then you learn it's a racing spin-off of a Dreamcast shmup with a developed backstory.
Sadly, the racer isn't that great. But the DC game looks good!

I cannot tell you how many times I've stopped and started this game. Especially with Andrew passing & Carpe Fulgur disbanding, this feels even more of a priority to properly finish now
This one I was enamored with from the demo years ago but also feels like one I need to be "in the mood" for a real story-focused puzzler to start. Maybe after I finish up Tiny Bookshop
yeah, I do also need to get to Disco Elysium as well, but this honestly feels more my thing and needs to be higher priority at this point

Folks hovering around my generation, plus or minus ten years, keep pining for IPs to return, and its like I keep saying, do you actually want New Thing from Franchise You Like, or do you want to re-experience that feeling you got when you fell in love with Franchise You Like and hope this'll do it?
I want to write another indie fighting game roundup for April on SuperCombo! If you have released a new character or a new version or your published fighting game or you have a major update (e.g. Kickstarter launch, Steam page launch), please reply here!๐
(Only original IPs, no fan games)

honestly need to up my metroidvania game in general but after watching the show a couple years back I've been meaning to get to this as well!
now that there's a studio follow-up in the works, I kind of have to now huh
some of these are definitely "process of elimination" due to keeping it one per franchise, but still p. close
Be kind. Be good. Be empathetic.
It's never too late to grow and evolve as a person. The anger in your heart is nothing to the love that you can give to the world and yourself.
I might sound corny af but trust me; living life with a full heart beats trudging through life with nothing but hate.
"arcade games are just made to steal your quarters" is like some "contemporary art is just money laundering" type shit. dispense with these layer-two takes you heard from someone marginally smarter than you. play out run. get your cock out and play xevious. play mr. do!
been sitting on this for a while, but was thinking abt beat 'em ups again. how they're not only for old fogeys like me but also please get away from 80s cartoons at least a little bit

Canadian Games funding is unique and NEEDS to be discussed authentically

Screenshot from POPUCOM. The two player characters pose at the end of completing a level. The green haired character is on the left, wearing a green raincoat and white boots. The yellow haired character is wearing a yellow bandana, black tanktop and black sneakers. The green character is raising their hands excitedly in the air, while the yellow character shows them something on their handheld device.

Great fun! I played through this one w. @californaya.bsky.social and the story mode was a totally bland story with some pretty well done level design. Puzzles stumped us a fair bit and the shooting is frustrating with all the server lag, but well recommended from me at least!
Screenshot from Project Hail Mary. Ryland (Ryan Gosling) operates the ship, with plenty of lights and switches abound on the inner part of the pilot's cabin. He's sitting in the pilot's chair, with two big seatbelts securing him to the seat.

Fuck, it's been a *while* since a live-action film has been in one of these. PHM is worth it though! I love me some gorgeous admiration of space in film, but I also love how well it weaves between acknowledging despair but being hopeful throughout it.
