True, but what caused this in the first place? During the first time we see Ephemural talk about allowing a hybrid, I was under the impression that they were NOT allowed before that. So what's the masks' endgame? Why does Ephemural seem to act like the bad guy, but then everything they do helps?
So we got a keidran with human kids, and a human with keidran kids, assuming Maren does get pregnant. I presume the masks (or at least the one) will have them be the same hybrid species (I know that irl order can affect things, like Ligers vs Tigons) but I'm curious what Ephemural is planning...
