...honestly, with the general way that College Board has been with the whole "commodifying and homogenizing education" thing, I'm not surprised they're going with this. I'm surprised they weren't jumping on it from the outset.

As the Sheng Wang bit would put it, I was able to shed my ego and begin a spiritual journey this past weekend by buying pants from Costco.

Shows a slender male character in a heavily stylized anime art style on a grayish background, wearing a long brown coat with golden ornaments and long fur around his neck. He has a skeletal, robotic-looking neck, red glowing eyes, and a doll like wind-up key in his back. A folded blade extends from one of his mechanical arms, and in his other mechanical hand he holds a scythe-like weapon with saw-like teeth and bandages wrapped around it.

Concept art for Victor an ex-general who lost most of his original body while in enemy captivity and was reconstructed as an almost fully mechanical automaton. He’ll be one of the hireable mercenaries and if everything goes well one of the romanceable characters in my little game

I think it's important to know that an oral history of Tim Curry's greatest line delivery exists

here it is

(and yes, it was his first take, and yes, they kept it anyway because how could you not)

In my little game, an infectious curse spreads through the land, slowly turning people into beasts. After countless failed attempts to cure it, he found a temporary way to control it, at a cost. Still, he chose to embrace it for the greater good. 😊💖

Face Interrogation (demo) is out!

Providing voices for bassy, suspicious characters is always fun.

You can hear me as Right Hand (plus others)!

I've spied early player reactions, I'm glad he's been so well-received despite, you know…

He has such “harrumph” eyebrows that I almost feel like he has to have an old British man name like “Archibald” or “Benedict.” Which can then be shortened to something like “Archie” or “Benny.” 😆

Heck, I feel there’s certain aspects of the hatred of driving and cars that can only come from having and driving a car.

Like the resentment one feels at the folks who take a lane change signal as a challenge to pass you NOW.

You should be kind and professional to everyone in a studio PERIOD. Whether or not they'll be your next boss is entirely irrelevant. Their labor makes ours possible, and they deserve our respect for it. It takes so many different moving parts to run a studio, and we're ALL necessary for success.

Reminds me of what my kendo instructors have taught about the etiquette. So much of it is about being ready for someone to try to attack you at any time. Even while bowing.

If the semi-traditional art is building ambush prevention into its etiquette, I feel that says a lot about the honor thing. 😅

You know you've gotten quite far into the dad joke thing when your own father starts saying you're acting like an 아저씨. 😆

Aiya. And a windshield isn’t something we can really DIY our way out of either…

May your new windshield be reasonably priced and may the road rocks dare not hit the glass.

It took me way too many years out of my life to get around to realizing how great that dipping sauce is.

Now it’s a must for the unmarinated stuff. 😁

This is fucking awful.

No matter HOW much time you spent on something - no matter how much of your skill and practice went into being able to do it - a complete stranger can IMMEDIATELY copy it into any number of things, take credit for it, and profit from it.

I’m begging you all - GET OFF TWITTER

I have recently gotten way more into fighting game stuff. I’ve always liked them, but now I’ve been doing things like writing character guides for friends because it’s fun to experiment. And also because I want other people in the rabbit hole with me. 🤣

The spirit of scientific inquiry lives on!

Yes, we could take other people’s word for it, but why not see the results for ourselves?

(Disclaimer: Please take other people’s word for it when dealing with anything that has a number or symbol in the friendly red, blue, yellow, and white diamond)

Unsurprisingly, I played a bunch of GBVSR this year. Fighting games are just a great little “get better at this one thing” project.

I only played Rivals for about 2 months before burning out and dropping it, but it managed to get up here by sheer force of how intensely I played it at the time.
