Obligatory pictures of our challenges from the weekend. I actually really liked this system once I'd gotten my head around it, although we did only get a 2 turn game 3 after a particularly nail-biting clash with an Archmagos

Had a wonderful weekend of hobbying, catching up with lots of friends, and realising that maybe 3rd edition Horus Heresy is actually fine? Good even?

Somehow Lloyd and I also won best warlords, which was a very pleasant surprise!

Streak 3 Day 6 🔥- And that's 5! The one on the right is looking a little too bright, but after the pin wash is done I'll edge highlight and then go back and get my grading right.

Streak 3 Day 5 🔥 - That's some more colours down on tactical 4. I have noticed they're getting brighter as the squad goes on, so I may have to double back and properly re-highlight.

Streak 3 Day 3 🔥 - Not nearly as exciting as yesterday, but it looks like the heavy bolters for the Shadowsword printed nicely.

Not quite sure how, since the supports went a bit crazy.

Streak 2 Day 22 🔥 - A total departure tonight in the light of the very exciting Legacies list released today.

Dug out a *very* old Shadowsword to strip it of its now 3 layers of paint. Will hopefully be showing off a lot more of this tank as I try to convert it to match the LI design.

Trying to work with a more ice-yellow top-end for my highlights to avoid the ash/dusty effect I got on my tester.

Had to get a little closer than I'm used to, but the colour is vivid, the finish is perfect, and I've still got a good 2/3rds of the can left!

Sculpting's all done, last few printed bits just need gluing down (excluding the last khopesh that seems cursed), and then a lot of barrel drilling tomorrow.
