If you would’ve told me last week while I was watching Jenna Phipps and Nikki that I would be meeting them today I would’ve said you were crazy. They’re up in Canada renovating their home, how would they ever be in Ohio? They put on a great presentation at the Central Ohio Home & Garden.

I’m shocked! I took third place in the 2D category. Never would I have thought I would get a ribbon against all these paintings.

I really don’t know how to exist right now… how can our democracy be in shambles and I’m posting about an artist reception for the exhibition I got into? I don’t know how to reconcile the two. I told myself to only focus on what I can control in my life, that’s what I’ll be doing the next few days.

Oh my, what happened? I am away right now.

Each day I start with catching up on what’s going on in the world. Lately I can’t get past the 100 things that happened here in the US. Is ignorance bliss? I don’t think so but it might be the only option for now. My little bit of blue sky yesterday….

Thank you! It seems like a small thing to do to support those who stand up to powerful forces but it’s something at least.
