I was getting really hard on myself about hating my work and I gotta steer away from that pressure to keep up with what social media wants to see.

Its probably pretty obvious by now but for my own mental health Ive been doing a pivot away from most fandom spaces and posting fanart in favor of developing my own personal stuff.

When you want to take being an artist more seriously, the endless learning we go thru is less daunting if we learn to truly love the creation process itself, embracing human flaws in our work for what they are
It shows that a person put effort into creating something themselves, & I love seeing that
