the thing about baseball is there are like 500,000 possible events but they're all extremely RNG-dependent

I donโt wanna jinx it but I think this might be the year I can finally go car-free ๐
One of the main reasons I โค๏ธ Utrecht is that I feel safe biking anywhere in the city AND the government works hard every year to make getting around by bike even better.
It's a sharp contrast to biking in America (and, frankly, most places in the world). It's time to change the world.
View of the living area in the tiny house on a sunny afternoon. There's a couch and coffee table, a bookshelf on the right, French front doors on the left, and a storage loft above. The ceilings and trim are all richly stained wood--decidedly cabin vibes.
View of the opposite end of the tiny house, including the dining bar, kitchen area, bathroom, and stairs to the sleeping loft. Again, very cabin-y. A full-size washer and dryer are visible in the bathroom.
View from the stairs of the sleeping loft. There's a queen size bed (pictured), and decent storage for clothes (not pictured).
Exterior view of the tiny house! It has metal skirting and steps, both included in the sale. Overall it's light gray with white trim and a dark gray roof, with lots of windows. The adorable twee cabin vibes continue.
Hey folks! I'm selling my tiny house, it's all prepped and ready for someone new to love it as much as I did.
If you're interested, please reach out, I'll leave DMs open for a while! Happy to answer any questions, and I've got a more detailed sales flyer I can share upon request.
Well, that was a disaster! Good lord! Yikes!!
I like this set but I feel terrible, so Iโm gonna pitch my phone into the river and go outside to read a book or something
Narrator: it did not go well
itโs prerelease time! going with a Lorehold pack; letโs see how it goes ๐
I never played it but honestly, Dan's list is so cursed that I think we can just put it anywhere
Not calling Wonder a mainline Mario game is criminal
We can and should do stuff like this here too! I really think Portland's economic/communal/spiritual recovery depends on yeeting a ton of old car infrastructure and putting in wider sidewalks, curbed/grade-separated bike lanes, and reinvesting in building out our sidewalk dining/social spaces.
somehow baby steps is such an incredible piece of art that it consumes related media and brings them into the work itself. two recent examples.

how was it
Medieval guy: Translate Hwรฆt?
Me: Thatโs right
Medieval guy (getting agitated): You want me to translate Hwรฆt?
Me: Thatโs what Iโm asking, yes
I donโt even have words for this.
This was affirming. Writing is mostly not fun and also I would never let someone or something else write for me
whenever people announce they're taking a break from bluesky, it's usually because they're astronauts experiencing a mandatory communications blackout as they re-enter earth's atmosphere. that's why they always come back in six minutes
I absolutely love this article. Nodding along and smiling as I was reading it. I recognise so many of the feelings evoked when we step outside of our metal boxes and allow ourselves to be 'a part' of the places we travel though, rather than 'apart' from them.
Please read and enjoy โค๏ธ
yeah. I mean, itโs kind of a โmoonโs hauntedโ-caliber statement, but I stand by it. they made Bubsy work; anything is possible now store.steampowered.com/app/3237970/...
they didn't have to make a good Bubsy. by rights they shouldn't have done it. but they did. it makes Mario Sunshine look kinda bad!
as someone who got burned as a kid by the original, remarkably bad Bubsy game on Super Nintendo, it is scrambling my poor little brain to report that Bubsy 4D absolutely has the juice
If you like words but hate reading, I have good news for you: I recorded my Resident Evil Requiem review and it's up on the @siliconsasquatch.com podcast now! Subscribe on your favorite app or listen here: www.siliconsasquatch.com/blog/2026/3/...
When you think about it, LinkedIn is a painstakingly detailed MMORPG adaptation of They Live (1988)
I would like it if games were less like Disneyland and more like a mom-and-pop corn maze, and I'm quite confident you would, too.

who called it the rampocalypse and not the cost of living crysis

Accidentally stumbled onto the phrase "too many irons in the tire fire" today and honestly, yeah, that's it right there
Come on then, and remove him.
Picture of Marjane Satrapi alongside a quote from her. The quote reads: The world is not divided into countries. The world is not divided between East and West. You are American, I am Iranian, we don't know each other, but we talk together and we understand each other perfectly. The difference between you and your government is much bigger than the difference between you and me. And the difference between me and my government is much bigger than the difference between me and you. And our governments are very much the same... - Marjane Satrapi, Iranian-French graphic novelist
Thinking about this quote from Persepolis creator Marjane Satrapi again.
