"Daredevil: The Man Without Fear!"
Finally got a chance to play around with some color on this DD piece from a few weeks back. Nestled somewhere between Wolverine, Spider-Man, and Silver Surfer, Matt Murdock would be one of my dream Marvel characters to work on (even if in a cover-only capacity).
Decided to throw some colors down on some of my recent Dinosaur / Paleontology inspired illustrations. Here is my "Elasmosaurus Hunting Party" piece with some beachy vibes to it.

I've been finding National Geographic photography to be endlessly insightful for inspiring compositions in my work lately. There's true authenticity in natural photography that really lends itself towards inspiring art that feels lived in.

An Elasmosaurus hunting party. I just started "Prehistoric Planet" (days after drawing this piece), and nearly spat out my drink when I saw the third episode in which three Elasmosaurus are shown hunting like this...

Argentinosaurus (One of the largest animals to ever walk the earth) with a bit of extra plumage and spike details because there is nothing in the fossil record to say whether this is wrong or right... but I am most likely very wrong with this depiction.
Any "artist" using AI in any capacity has given up on their own humanity. Its a reflection of our modern obsession to produce "content"; our need to keep up with the river of social media and not get lost in its rapids of algorithms.
"Walkway For Mammoths"
Taking a stab at building up my paleoart portfolio with a wider range of dinosaur and prehistoric animal illustrations. Mammoths are incredibly fascinating, and given our knowledge of modern elephants, it makes you wonder how complex their relationships were.

A long way to go, but I'm not giving up yet! This is important to me because although we're only a 2 person operation at Dauntless we get dozens of subs a week and I would do ANYTHING to be able to say yes to more people. This showcase is a step towards being able to do that!
