Say what you will about Trek, but the shows that aren’t about bringing Picard back tend to work decently as stand alone shows.

Their quality beyond that, kind of a crapshoot.

No knocking Rebels, but that was a show that spun out of Clone Wars and demanded I know quite a bit about where they left things off. And I wasn’t looking for another Young Kid Adventures series either.

Just wasn’t my thing, and now I don’t get to watch Star Wars because of it I guess.

Yet another reason why I just bounced right off of most of the Star Wars content.

I never watched Clone wars. I really wasn’t that interested in clone wars. Making me watch 7 seasons to understand what orange bored lady is doing with Grogu isn’t what I want from a show.

Oh. And then there’s Rebels

Oof. Ok, that explains some of the panic at least.

Shame we don’t have a character known for changing names and faces. I mean, Immortus, Rama-Tut, Iron Kid…

But the cash machine couldn’t keep spinning money!

But seriously. 5 years of solid TV content working up another big bad? That could have been cool.

Spidey gets a pass because he’s Spidey though. Maybe also Doc Strange.

Imagine if they had recast and just made it a thing where anyone can have the role of Kang. Maybe even make it so he switches actors mid scene.

Shit was *over.* Jumping the setting ahead five years? You only do that when you know you'll never have to write about the consequences.

Iron Man? His arc was done. Steve? Got his happy ending. Thor? Moved on emotionally.

I mean, that’s kind of it. He was so traumatized by Krakoa’s thing ending, he took a full X-Men team to Alaska with him this time rather than run away solo. He also had a nervous breakdown when Professor X ran off to space to have his evil brain cancer dealt with by his space bird girl. As you do.

Having read those days, I’m a die hard Scott fan. I wish the poor guy could have retired in peace, but then I wouldn’t have stumbled into the mess that his life is with The Twelve!

I mean, for one, no they won’t.

For two, Jesus.

“What-If Cyclops was Happy?”, and it’s just relentless depression around him while Scott convinces himself he’s good.

The fact that one of the most interesting versions of Captain Hook is probably from the 90's Fox's Peter Pan & The Pirates, is kind of crazy.

HA they went hard with his dialog....man I haven't seen this in 20 years.

Their ridges are actually a highly developed network of air and scent detectors that give them a radar sense when blinded.
