Actually saw a warning on a dryer the other day (in Looe, Cornwall) so anyone with noise sensitivity could be better prepared

Oh yes it is (pantomime voice).
The universe is a perpetual failure, the odds on a planet surviving with a stable evironment to allow life to evolve into a civilisation capable of any sort of pottery; to have created a mug that you felt happy to post a photo of, is a success regardless
Impresed that the handle stayed attached. That is strong crafting
BAFTA pulling a trailer for an autobiographical game about surviving sexual assault only hours before it was said to be a part of a showcase is an exceptionally bad look.
Please re-read my post before making such a tired comment
Does't farage have a german passport? His childen do
Most homes still don't have petrol pumps or linked to a diesel supply - is this a problem?
There are far more public chargers than petrol pumps.
I added over 100mile range in 20minutes yesterday while shopping at lidl dartmouth for £11 (65p/kW).
Mobile signal can be more of a problem than the battery (most people experience phone batteries failing, although very different bms, so focus on that)
Turning off 3g has bricked many car apps; so it still drives but useful remote functions, charging, heating etc gone
This is the uk proposal (not sure yet how it will be collected, or how driving in eu is counted-discounted); there is also higher vat on electric from public chargers.

Nighttime march in Georgia with St George flags
Not all st george flags - here at a march to join the eu.
From @nuka21.bsky.social
#georgia
If only it were 'a lot of awful people are in danger'; but they are all tucked up safe in luxury
Good to see st george flag used by pro-eu supporters and not hate-full little englanders
At least the drain grid is the right way round and not waiting in line for a wheel to drop in
'if you have a lot of batteries' as in electric vehicles. Vehicle to Grid helps distribute the storage around the network, improving resiliance and savings for users
I imagine this is targeted at remote 'off grid' consumers. Bhutan already has enough spare hydro to export 75% to india, probably over 2,000MW
Hydrogen takes up much more space, is less efficient, and is more complex and expensive than batteries (especially if all the parked cars are linked to the grid, v2g).
The benifit of hydrogen is to the fossil fuel companies to keep pushing their centralised rip-off polluting business model
How will you stop israel attacking any proposed nuclear projects (and collatoral schools and hospitals)?
Why is there still a twitter team?
Any twitter team - when I left it seemed only a platform for denigrating those not of a trumpf persuasion
1975 Shockwave Rider by John Brunner - senario was the 'Delphi' social gambling platform, and organised crime best placed to take control through an internet type network.
VICTORY! Government to open up the Land Registry - bringing to an end a thousand years of secrecy shrouding who owns England.
I’ve been campaigning for this for ten years: the new Land Use Framework, published later today, makes it government policy. 1/

Also housing and solar don't compete for space; rooftop solar anyone? Solar car ports?
Solar shading for crops and livestock?
vs loss of big agro due to climate change and cost/instability/complexity of fossil fueled machinery and distribution networks, and fossil derived agro-chemicals
was it played slightlty slow, slightly on one flat note?
April 2026 marks the 25th anniversary of the return of the Chough to Kernow. The public is being asked to suggest wildlife for new bank note designs. What better choice than this hugely symbolic bird that has heralded a Cornish cultural revival and been such a significant conservation success.
Are british notes still made with animal (non-vegan) ingredients? ergo not woke-green
Fagage-trump mostly get paid in bitcoin anyway, but I would have thought he would like uk to move to us 'greenbacks' $$
Green light on car charging socket
And car charging
Today we have published new analysis building on the Committee's advice on the UK’s Seventh Carbon Budget.
Our conclusions about the cost of decarbonising the UK and impacts on energy security were tested against different scenarios ⬇️

KCII?
Defeated by Oliver Cromwell - those times of global upheaval
(He also had about a dozen illigitamate children, so would probably fit right in with the current regime)
Or KCII of Spain?
Mostly 3 cornered leak down here, but I think their tougher leaves work better in ferment than wild garlic, I simply chop and add to kraut.
And as it is an invasive weed that helps environment too
Donut or not, sodium is nearly here.
existing chemistries already provide 5 minute charging (byd rolling 1MW charging out across China) for cars and lorry range >4.5 hour, the legal time between 45minute breaks.
There is no decent reason to keep driving old smelly noisy clunkers
