Dear Costco, Please don't use tissue box pictures that look like giant insects. Thanks!

We also got a Lindt calendar, and always enjoy it.
However, the day numbers get smaller every year, so I use a Sharpie, and write a large number on each door!

Did you circle things in the catalogue, or write a list? #canada

a man in a suit and tie is walking down stairs Alt: a man in a suit and tie is walking down stairs, he slips, and grabs the handrail, to stop himself

Do you say "Hold the railing" or "Hold the banister"?
Be careful out there - it's the start of "slip and fall" season!

It's a lovely area! We had a cottage just past the Quebec border, and spent lots of time on Hwy 2. Many enjoyable weekend trips to Montreal/Ottawa too.

There's lots of traffic at the Detroit/Windsor border crossing. Maybe the Canadian visitors spread the word! And at least you know how to say "euchre"!

There was no escaping euchre where I grew up (Eastern Ontario)! The fancy people played bridge

Cribbage is a great game to start with. And if nobody left in a huff, play a different game!

Excellent choice! And there's always 2-handed euchre, if you don't have 4 players

Right? I save my brain cells for remembering where I put things!

There are lots of cold days ahead, which is perfect cribbage weather!

"Oh Grandpa, hold yer horses! I'm going as fast as I can!" And our grandkids don't like it, because of all the counting.

Ha! So much fun, especially if you beat her occasionally! We played lots of cribbage too, and it's time to dust off that board again

Two-toned wooden game boards for chess and cribbage, and a score-keeping board board for euchre, with metal plates for numbers (1 to 10) and the game name

Which game would you choose - cribbage, euchre, or chess? There were always euchre tables at our long-ago family gatherings, and we played at university too! #canada #games

That's great for a book like this! And it was recent history (at least in my time measurement system!)

I got a digital copy from our library, and finished it over a couple of days
