I designed and printed this case for an LPDA antenna while I still can.

a rank of three fridge-sized IBM tape units straight out of old school science fiction. they are the quintessential tape unit with the two spinny reels and the vacuum columns. colorful indicator lights at the top, white metal panels with light blue accents.

a big waffle connector, called that because it is about the size of a waffle and patterned on the top in a vaguely similar way, maybe if waffles had 200 indentations instead of like 20.

i've been tinkering with IBM 729 tape units (1960s data storage tech). they're definitely not USB devices. check out the huge connectors they use!
