Yes adding on to what others have said, there was a tariff based on purchase price. At the time this crossed the border I think the tariff was 10%. This car was pretty cheap, so not too painful. But still, these tariffs are so dumb.

I'm a car enthusiast that hates car dependency. On my YouTube channel I make vids about how cars can be fun/useful, and often advocate for a more balanced transportation ecosystem. This makes the comment section a total blast—I get hate from both car people AND anti-car people. 🎉🫠
