In a nationwide study of 620 751 children born in Finland (2006-2016) T1D was a risk factor associated with nearly all subtypes of CHD in offspring, while overweight and obesity were associated with certain types of CHD (LVOTO, RVOTO, complex defects) & reduced risk for VSD.
