The Zeiss 35mm f2 Sonnar T* colors are more clinical, but it still has its own character. Plus I can fit the camera in my fanny pack:)

Leica 35mm f2 Summicron ASPH v1 — @5nanometers

After reviewing my catalogs, I have come to realize my favorite photos are actually from my Leica 35mm f2 Summicron ASPH. The colors, sharpness, and 3D pop from that lens are stunning

Getting another RX1R Mark 2 might actually heal me. It let me see clearly. It traveled with me everywhere. It didn't just help me document life, it pulled me into it.

Plus I still have the strap and thumb grip from before

These days I use a Sony TX30 point-and-shoot and a Contax G1 with a 35mm Zeiss.

The TX30 is tiny, and it's fun to slide the lens cover open. Image quality could be better, but it's a fun flash shotgun. & I love the G1's colors, especially with flash or at night, but film is just too expensive

Reminiscing about compact cameras I've had.

I've used the Leica M240 and Leica Q, but the one I can't stop thinking about is the Sony RX1R Mark 2.

There's just something about that camera. It was so perfect.
