Chekhov went to the vet today to get his second set of kitty shots. While there, he got into a garbage can, tried to eat a stethoscope, attempted to escape the exam room, and got into their computer.

My vet office sent me a really lovely sympathy card for Fyodor signed by everyone who took care of him. I’m a little 😭 right now.

Chekhov had his first vet visit with the vet that helped me say goodbye to Fyodor. The office all took turns petting him, and the vet kept telling me how happy she was for me. We’ll be chipping him on his next visit. Very positive experience overall.

introduced Virginia and Chekhov tonight. It went incredibly well, and while I'm sad Ginny and Fyodor never got along like this, it's nice to know Chekhov will have a friend, and that my little old lady will have some new enrichment in her enclosure.
