I had a similar experience at Oga’s. I was in a big group of adults that got seated around the booth and then a guy and his son (maybe 9 years old?) got seated on the awkward interview stools across from us. Everyone tried to be jokey and easygoing about it but it was super uncomfortable.

We were disappointed by the lack of Ygor merch, so I knitted some myself 🪡

He’s low key kinda ugly, but he brings me joy!

I’m so proud to be working with a park that embraces my community so wholeheartedly. In addition to the Looney Tunes in their Pride outfits, we have Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn meeting guests together as a couple! I love that we get to celebrate our LGBT characters at this event live & in person.

Earlier this year, just months after a disastrous US election and feeling utterly defeated, I woke up to an email in my inbox: Parque Warner was moving forward with their first-ever Pride festival this year!!!

Working with my team & Parque Warner on this event has been such an absolute light.

My little intern tasks included drawing the Ministry atrium statue in CAD and creating a doc tracking every mention of the Ministry of Magic in every HP book and movie. My tasks were small and my time was short, but it’s a huge honor to have had a project this EPIC as the first step in my career.

I was a show set intern at Universal Creative back in 2017, and Epic Universe was the very first project I ever touched in my professional career.

I pretty much only avoided ride & queue POVs before visiting, and I was still surprised and delighted at every corner. It’s a real treat. An absolute spectacle of a park while also being just a really pleasant, lovely place to hang out.

I hadn’t thought about the fact that it sounds like “siren’s lair” at all but I do think you’re right. I just looked it up and “Siren’s Song” usually translates to “le chant des sirènes,” not “l’air.”
