I canvassed for Zohran for mayor in Inwood today! Lots of positive responses and great experience overall. Thanks to our campaign leads and Team Zohran for making it so easy to plug in. I highly recommend it!

We’re facing Ithaca’s Andrew Cuomo, a conservative democrat who lost the primary and is now running as an independent promising to cut social services which he terms “bloat”, redirect city funds to even more police, and forcibly relocate homeless Ithacans.

We pulled off an incredible canvass launch yesterday with team Hannah Shvets for Ithaca! Volunteers from Cornell YDSA, Ithaca DSA, Ithaca Tenants Union, and Ithaca Sunrise came together to talk to our neighbors, eat some pizza 🍕 and start the general election off strong!

Deeply disappointed to see my own Rep Josh Riley on this list! So many activists including pro-immigrant groups worked to get Josh Riley elected so for him to turn around and back mandatory detention at the same time as we’re fighting to affirm sanctuary protections in Ithaca is a slap in the face!

Fight organized greed with organized labor.

Everyone deserves housing.

Everyone deserves water.
Everyone deserves healthcare.

We have the resources. We just need a system that focuses on caring for people instead of making the rich richer.
