Literally said nothing like this.

I said that only powerful and rich people can access privacy while its being taken away from everybody else.

I said the elite / controlling class, as in the capitalist class. Not as in the secret cabal that controls the world.

Isn't "richness", like, extremely relative though?

Relatively rich for you, uber rich more most of the world.

Do I agree that human greediness is a bottomless pit? Sure.

Do 14 year old girls who discover communism talk differently about money?

You've diverted so much from the point already, insulting me won't help.

For the record though, you didn't acknowledge the existence of economic classes - don't you think I'd have to adapt and bring up material according to the audience?

It's a gated community for the uber rich.

Part of the higher economic class in our globalised economy.

Part of the elite class, as they have concentrated wealth and power, aka capital.

This privilege of privacy against "the public" was given because of said status.

Are you declining the existence of a class system in capitalism?

Okay, stay out.

In this case the motivations were very clearly nationalistic.

Either way, that part was a stupid jab - apparently effective.

I have zero beef with any language.

It's important to know the why and how a language came, was preserved or was resurrected though.

So there was no privacy to be kept here, as the data were already harvested by Google.

The difference is, that while you have no control over how Google treats your data, it seems like the Elite class does.

Privacy for me but not for thee.

I don't celebrate the aforementioned situation, first I heard it.

Your point about privacy is invalid.

The fact that Google didn't allow public access never meant that Google doesn't have the data.

Privacy is not endangered by public utilities but by monopolistic tech companies that exploit it.

The who and why here are fairly important here.
They who protect their privacy in this case are the same ones who are exploiting and removing yours.

This is a very typical, blatand, at-your-face insult from the controlling class.

It feels like you should care somewhat.

As a Greek, our national identity and alleged connection to ancient people is as well a mixture of historical lies and inventions.

Liberties people at the time took, knowingly obsfucating real history, to create regional claims and justify a newly created independent nation.

Long conversation.

Eliezer Ben-Yehuda and the Making of Modern Hebrew | My Jewish Learning jewish, learning, judaism, eliezer ben yehuda, ben yehuda, street, hebrew language, revival zionist

It's not a bad thing, just a reality.

Language is fluid. A ancient language revival is an exceptional event, yet, it's inherently motivated by nationalism and is directly tied to the land claims.

The bullshit laws about OS-level ID verification "for children" by the pedo raping warmongering cabal called the US government should be immediately repelled.

It's literally the epitome of techno-feudalism / fascism and a step closer to absolute world-wide totalitarianism.

Graphics are an amazing field. Fascinating progress.
But it can't be at the expense of the experience.
And it can never be real progress with vendor-exclusive pipelines, such us DLSSlop.

The shitty obsession with "rEaLiSm" is what got us DLSSlop 5.

Trying to emulate reality gets you shitty performance and you end up having to outline everything Interactable, and paint everything yellow, because nothing stands-out anymore.

Games are at their best when they are games.

Anyway,

Not watching Pantheon would be a huge disservice to yourself.

If you are a movie-index forum that has removed it, that would make you a joke and give me enough of a reason to not bother.

I wanted to post about Pantheon once more, because it is one of the greatest pieces of media of our generation, only to find out @letterboxd.social had removed it from their platform, because it's a TV-series (debatable) and not a Film (also debatable).

What's wrong with you elitist IMDB?

I've said it many times in the past:
There's nothing to like or aspirire in AAA productions.
They invented the slop.
They are the slop.

Too many great artists are chained on the casinos masquerading as gaming companies.

I just hope them openly embracing AI slop is a walking moment for more.

From the nvidia community on Reddit: A hands-on impression of what DLSS 5 means by Ryan Shrout Posted by AnthMosk - 118 votes and 512 comments

The coping and sithing from nvidia affiliated slop-aficionados is unparallelled.

But the top slopper / mod at /r/nvidia makes a great point - that many AAA devs embraced and liked the sloppifying upscaler.

Which is brings us to the real issue, AAA culture.

once you learn how much training data images of women come from porn, it illuminates so much. this is more than bad to look at, it's the rot of misogyny in full display.

Horses shouldn't have been removed.

I'm pretty sure this shovelware bit is crude and tasteless, but there's something inherently wrong with disallowed games to explore any theme because it is offensive - that demotes our work to "content", rather than art.

Advertisers shouldn't dictate speech

It remains damning that "from the river to the sea" is criminalized to the point that thought police has evaporated a great rally cry for freedom from common use, but genocide and international law breaches and group rape of hostages with knives are in the "it's not the time to lecture" bucket.

This is isn’t rare and is why I neither aspire to be in AAA nor respect AAA experience as better.

Massive disrespect to all the AAA business people, you’re disgusting ✨

Looking into how unfair and absurd US law is and I'm not surprised burgers volunteer to go get boxxed up in Iran.

Too bad. If they had an education they'd point that suicidal energy within.

It's similar to South Korea.

After their genocide, they use their war on Iran and also attack all the neighbours, again, with Lebanon being the most affected.

Allies of course are not safe, as Israel is more than happy to attack them as well and then blame one of their current adversaries so it can caus more conflict.

The sad thing about the Israel issue is that's not particularly comlex.

It's a theocrstical fascist warmongering regime that will always wage war using the US as long it exists.

There is no possible future where the apartheid state becomes pacified if its not completely dismantled.

And yes, this is a reach - if you're stupid.

To bring it back to reality:

If we fuck off the pretentious theoretical frameworks - which I do - professionalism is a decision, a decision to be content with genocide.

There's a level of cultural differences in play here.

I'm Greek. Professionalism is a very a rare attribute in our society - treated as pretentiousness and often looked down upon.

I often complain that it's missing - directly contradicting myself.

Politeness is expected to be genuine.
