I think 75% of this story is fueled by salmon nigiri from that place haha whenever I'm feeling stuck, I jokingly ask to go get sushi there. It works more than I'd like to admit. I think I owe them a dedication. (4/4)

So I just channeled the things I loved. Things I thought were neat. The opinions I had. The frustration and grief at my job and the corporate world and capitalism at large. And before I knew it, my joke story turned into something I loved. It's cheesy but Gloria and Emeric kind of saved me.(3/4)

I was out to sushi with my husband and joked how I want more alien stories but with less violence and more like. I don't know, what if it was just funny, boring property disputes. And the more I joked about the more I thought, why don't I just write this? It doesn't have to be serious. (2/4)

For my WIP I made a playable game! Basically alien chess. It's not complex, but it IS playable. My husband made me a prototype. I needed rules to use for themes and metaphors!! #CRPLyrebirds

They have iridescent hair with pigments that absorb sunlight and their alcohol is citric acid, so you can image the scandal of a lemon to them LOL

aww thank you!! The planet has a pastel color palette for it's sky and water inspired by Monet! I focus a lot on the light and water in hopes of evoking that vibe. I wanted something really dreamy and colorful!!
