The messenger matters. Being willing to talk about AIPAC only in the context of accusing its critics of antisemitism and refusing to engage with the main reasons people criticize AIPAC makes his outrage at any antisemitism appear to be in bad faith.

It’s a problem but the word has been levied at anyone critiquing the actions of Israel (funded by the US) in Gaza, which I would argue, is increasing antisemitism in return.

Antisemitism should not be a shield to defend Israel (and PACs lobbying on their behalf).
