The @theathletic.com claims Lynn invented Claw-dia but the true story is that one absolutely deranged fan (me) invented and has been building that brand for the best US keeper for years. Please put in the papers that I am annoyed.

I would have loved to read a piece where every single W coach and GM breaks down anonymously why the top two picks have generational skills (as Cheryl said) and in what way they are different from what already exists in the W. No one thought to write that story.

Truly just been so damn disappointed in W media in general throughout this college season

You had a generational shooter to cover all year, someone who was breaking records and doing this after fighting adversity and no one properly covered it at all

Thank you Andrew.

To all media members, especially straight white people: learn something.

Look at my favorite player aka the number 1 pick aka a generational shooter sought after by at least 6 top teams this year (and last year too).

Despite all her adversity, she still ended up number 5 on UConn's career 3P made with 25-40 less games played and the third fastest rate of scoring them.

This is probably the last time they play here until the next time we have grass maybe in 2031 lol

Today's discovery.
Azzi Fudd and Alex Karaban both have the same birthdays: November 11, 2002.
Yes they both got the Natty while playing for UConn but the really fun fact:
They both finish their careers with 292 threes (Azzi was 292/692 or 42.2% and Alex was 292/780 or 37.4%).

Wow.

Thinking about how the top 2 high school players for 2020, 2021, and 2022 all won a natty and one of them had a MOP in their respective finals too.

Paige and Angel (MOP)
Azzi (MOP) and Raven
Lauren (MOP) and Kiki

Pretty incredible.

Last year, Paige Bueckers, Azzi Fudd & Sarah Strong combined to score 368 points for UConn - a record for a trio.

This year, the senior class of UCLA (6 players) combined for 424 points.

The number 1 (AZ35) and 2 (LB51) picks both being national champions and MOPs and the nicest human beings on earth who each battled their own adversity :)

Man - two players I absolutely love winning MOP back to back :)

And if you don't believe us:
1) they only scouted 35 all year
2) they only hired guard coaches that specialize in a system for this particular backcourt that requires high volume accurate three point shooting and full court press
3) they had their pick before the tournament and said so
