There's a lot of really unfortunate framing in this article that denigrates hard-working journalists who do dangerous and important on-the-ground reporting. It conflates serious journalists from across the political spectrum with influencers who don't operate with the same good faith
This is the first I’m hearing that TH followed the Speaker home? Perhaps they did? But honestly that sounds like to much work for TH, they don’t put much effort into anything. Screen grabbing the work of actual journalists and stealing images from photojournalists for their socials is more their MO.

I understand. There are some great journalists up at the Capitol who have been reporting on that amendment to Bulso’s bill. Vivian Jones being one of them.

The best thing you can do is support your local news outlets and journalists, and some national/international outlets you like. Subscribing helps keep real journalists paid and in the field.

It is in fact true. He regularly steals the images of photojournalists both locally/nationally, he consistently pawns off video produced by colleagues of mine as his own, he is always screen grabbing the reports of local reporters. It’s a copyright violation and theft.
Support local news outlets and actual local journalists.

What local stuff? They don’t get out and report in the community, they don’t write or produce original news reports of any kind, they screen grab reports by local journalists and steal images from local and national photojournalists for their social accounts.

The live feed from yesterday’s press briefing. It is standard procedure for TV News to run live feed during closed door press briefings that are reserved for actual working journalists.
And no, the press is not complicit because content creators like the holler are not journalists.
Putting a cellphone in peoples faces does not equal journalism. The holler does not produce any original reporting.
I would also suggest following Matt Masters reporting he is with the Williamson Scene/Nashville Scene. There are some very good and actual journalists in the Nashville area. I don’t believe he is on Bluesky yet.
