This is the courtyard of the main castle in Xylem, the capital city on the Life Tree from my comic, Dungheap. Working out composition and perspective before I add the people and critters and all the little details and do the final drawing.

After hearing about the Buffy show being cancelled I have little hope for Firefly. Shows get cancelled so easily these days. Still upset at Acolyte being cancelled. i would have loved to have seen where it went. Still hoping a $#!ton of people will fight for Buffy to find a home. Hope for the best!!

I'm hoping Adam Baldwin doesn't eff this whole thing up. I think they could have gotten creative and done fine without him at all.

Watching Paradise on Hulu and the music sounded familiar. Being on Hulu it reminded me of Marvel’s The Runaways. It had a very unique sound that I thought made the show very dreamy. Paradise sounds dreamy. They do happen to be by the same composer, Siddhartha Khosla. Thumbs up.

Most of my friends back home in Oklahoma are just happy this horrible person is leaving Oklahoma politics. Did anyone expect anything better? For reals? From this administration? 😞

Made it to the studio fairly early, for me, hoping to see some peeps I haven't seen in awhile, but, alas, everyone was gone. Got three hours work in tho! Much easier to get work done away from the comfort of my own place. Was working on fashion for my tree loving Volans from my Dungheap comic.
