Hello I am Chloe Iโ€™m an artist, I sell my original work online. I realise not everyone can afford art but if you like my work perhaps share these kinds of posts, it helps me. There are a few different galleries to browse on my website.

Such a good album this. First CD, as in not a tape or record, I ever bought.

A black and white drawing of a man with his face set into his chest. A bird's head and neck extends from where his head should be. He also has lil' wings like a wee Cupid-fella.

A terrible form of matter grew in the water when I tried this. I was trying to regrow a whole onion from about a cm though.

Seems a somewhat lenient penalty for skipping a hole.

And now someone has seen a big cat on the golf course and decided to skip the tenth hole and take a four shot penalty rather than go near it.

From Merrily Harpur's Mystery Big Cats.

There's a brilliant anecdote about an escaped lion jumping in the back of a copper's car from nowhere and him calmly driving back to the nick with it. Said his daughter used to fall asleep in the back so thought the lion might do the same. Turned out it was trained to jump in cars to be transported.

My friend and I saw a big cat on Exmoor in 1982 | Letter Letter: Steve Jones responds to Max Luryโ€™s report of seeing a big cat on Dartmoor as a child, and not being believed

Currently reading Merrily Harpur's Mystery Big Cats and I'm struck by how many ABC sightings have multiple witnesses. Yet the evidence for them being physical is scant and not as should be expected. Interesting one.

Trickster Resources This is just a list of some resources on trickster theory, including a couple of my own talks/interviews on the topic of tricksters and clowns. I plan to add as I find more stuff so this is in no way ...

I made a doc with some resources for learning about the Trickster

What are everyone's favorite books/papers of lit theory/narratology/rhetoric/poetics/etc? Asking for a friend who's an autodidact in this area and in a rut and running up against the limits of his knowledge and in constant danger of reinventing the wheel.

ah man that had me laughing. Brilliant. When I got to that ending I thought this would make a perfect viz strip too. Something about the comic timing. Great stuff.

And hereโ€™s Joe - a dinosaur theme park flash story with hotdogs.

Give it a go. It comes with or without mayo. And has plenty of dinosaurs.

Cheers. That's very true. There's lots more going on now. esp the writing. Like you, I think I need that first thing out there to build on.

Music wise I've made nothing for ages. I'm still playing the piano though. Prob best thing i've done for myself going back to that.
I've managed over a year off the booze too. So there's that. It hasn't really lifted any veil though.

I'm sure it will!
My writing has been pretty polar. Periods of high productivity periods of nothing. Got a few new stories down that I'm happy with tho. Some submitted. One nice rejection. And tying up all the last fiddly bits for my self-pub novel. Not fun. Although I enjoy typesetting apparently ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

I hope things go well for you ๐Ÿคž Good to hear your daemon is still prodding you to write though. It all builds up. I'd be struggling in your situation. Sounds tough. Sometimes breaks help my unconscious sort writing stuff out, but sounds like yours is busy. I also really want your anthology!

I went camping once and there was a couple at the site who had brought their electric bass guitars along. I would hear them each morning on the way to the toilet having an unamplified slap bass jam inside their tent. It's hard to imagine a happier couple.
