I think that's true for most of the "leaders", as they'll just move on to the next grift but for the regular people that support this, they have to contend with looking foolish for being conned and being wronged.

I think there's a grest deal of fear and resentment involved which ties in to your point and the previous post. If you've been told all you life that things are a certain way but suddenly you see people breaking "the rules"... You might fear your worldview shattering.

Morrowind's gameplay is definitely antiquated and could do with an upgrade. It's a shame that Bethesda got rid of so much of the great things about Morrowind in later games, especially the pacing of the main story.

I think this is what happens when you have people who make a game that they themselves want to play without having to much pressure or interference from a publisher.
At least that's the impression I get.

It never ceases to baffle me that they managed to pace the main story for Morrowind quite well for the type of game they make and have subsequently forgotten how to do it harder for each game released since.

I've seen them as a reflection of my playstyle, I don't really go out of my way to get any at all. My partner is a completionist and will hunt down every achievement even if it's not fun. I think that's crazy but each to their own I guess.
