I started making simple type icons for my game. The first three are the types you'll see when you choose your starter. From left to right it's Fire, Nature, and Water. 3 down 15 more types to go.

Pixel art of four stylized, dinosaur-inspired creatures, each showcased in a stylized comic book/fighting game-like panel with a different solid-colored background.

On the top left panel is a sleek, serpentine red dragon with a long coiled body, bright orange flames along its head and back, large wings, and a tail that ends in flames. It has orange eyes. It has a dark purple background.

On the bottom left is a dark blue tyrannosaurus-like creature with light blue underbelly, angular metallic yellow/gold jaw, glowing teal crystal claws, and teal crystal fin-like wings on its shoulders. It has no eyes, and is standing proudly and about to roar. It has a teal background.

On the top right panel is a black/dark gray pteranodon-like creature with beige underbelly. Its tail is long and serpentine, and its arms and shoulders appear like mystical floating teal crystals. It has light blue eyes. It has a muted brown-gray background.

On the bottom right panel is a stocky, lime-green brontosaurus-like creature with a small head, light olive underbelly, and a massive stylized rock shell on its back, resembling minerals. It has a muted green background.

I'd love to see your art styles 🌺

I've recently found myself being inspired by the gen 5 Pokémon sprites while I've been making art for a creature collecting game I want to release in the future. I also like Snoopy a lot.

@crumpaloo.bsky.social thanks for tagging me in this one 😄

Yeah it’s saves a lot of time especially since you can copy and paste them around once you finalized the block design

Decided to work on some isometric blocks in a group drawing session I'm pretty happy with the results. I might go back and readjust the stairs though. I can't wait to texture these and use them for my game

Video

This is an animation I've been working on for a creature called Capristorm. It's an electric/rock that can channel lightning through its horns to move at high speeds. I'm not the best animator so I'd appreciate any feedback.

Last but certainly not least is the water starter. This timid little octupus is called Pulpasoak and it's know for hiding in it's tiny shell whenever it's scared. Drawing all the starters was fun and I can't wait to refine them.

Next up is the grass starter. This little fella is called Pangoleaf. Don't let the leaves fool you they're actually really durable and serve as a shield for Pangoleaf to block attacks. Feel free to leave any feedback you may have :)

This looks so cool. If you made this on a smaller scale try increasing the sprite size when you want to post it. That way it won’t look compressed
