Aeroméxico lounge CDMX. By far, the most exotic thing in the lounge looked a little bit too swampy for me. The white wine on offer was untitled, but it appeared to be a relatively insipid Sauvignon Blanc. I had a sip or two but decided to save myself for a bloody Mary on the plane…

Delta sky lounge JFK -- Delta has FINALLY changed their premium rosé to a Château la Mascaronne--much better than the sickly sweet Le Bernadin that they had before. And frankly, their complementary rosé --a wine called Folly, unfortunately – is not bad either.
Delta lounge JFK – this is the winner of the most exotic breakfast item on the buffet. And it is oddly delicious.
Delta sky club JFK -- I have missed you! Even though it's not as spectacular as the Delta one Club, I am partial to these rows of seats overlooking the runway – especially at dawn
one of my first gigs. I got paid in meals at the great jones cafe: www.indiewire.com/news/trailer...
United lounge at CDMX! There is this pretty extensive self serve bar – but there is literally not a mixer to be found. No tomato juice, no limes, no seltzer, no tonic water…
United lounge CDMX-I absconded here to escape the alcohol free grand elite VIP lounge. There is this Sauvignon Blanc on offer – it is pretty atrocious but at least it is Self Serve my favorite kind of serve.
Grand elite lounge CDMX. The bar sadly does not appear to open for another few hours – probably when I'll be in flight! So I can't evaluate the wine. However, this is by far the most interesting buffet offering.
Grand Elite lounge, CDMX! This is considered one of the best Priority Pass lounges in the system – and I agree if only for this Apollo themed sculpture that greets you at the door…
Finally made it into the Centurion lounge!! It is beyond crowded… This is by far the most popular item on the buffet table. The wine is pretty mediocre. I am sipping a barely quaffable Oregon rosé.
Phoenix airport! Wanted to review the escape lounge and Centurion lounge for you today, but you need to choose one or the other, and neither lets me in until 3 hours before my flight.at a bar with the hoi polloi 🤣and you can see that the Chardonnay situation is dire
The places that actually advertise the animal they are selling eating itself hold a special place in my heart
Delta lounge JFK--made my way over to the lounge near the A gates--much smaller and typically much less busy. To my surprise, the complementary rosé was completely different! And it is also absolutely quaffable
Currently
Delta lounge JFK – the new complementary rosé is this one – sadly named Folly! But it's actually not terrible.
Delta lounge JFK --I have missed you!! Trying to make my way to Mexico City to start the Todd Haynes film. This is a pretty ballsy breakfast offering if you ask me. Not sure that I have the stomach to try it yet… The rosé on offer is the typical somewhat pallid Le Bernarde
AMEX lounge at IAH.This lounge is the polar opposite of the one in SLC– overwhelmingly busy – subterranean – sludgy food. This pasty soup kind of sums it all up. On the bright side, I am sampling the Sauvignon Blanc and it's not disgusting.
AMEX Centurion lounge SLC. These are the wines on offer – which frankly are a tad disappointing. It may well be an extra bloody extra Mary morning for me, but if I was going to drink a wine, I guess it would be the Sauvignon Blanc.
AMEX centurion lounge SLC – extremely impressive buffet! Probably the most exotic I've ever seen in an airport lounge. AND--the bar is open even though it's only 6 AM. Kind of a shocker for Utah! Almost makes up for our first flight getting canceled…
Admirals club EWR – newsflash! The Club has switched over to lunch with a much more substantial buffet – and the not pictured lobster bisque, southwest chili, and a kind of gray beef with vegetables…
Admirals club EWR. I missed these... apple filled pancakes at the buffet. Not brave enough to eat! Was delayed at security because a man insisted that his passport had been stolen out of one of the bins. I finally got through, but I was kind of eager to see what happened.
Heading to Sundance--Bought my way into the admirals club at EWR! This is the entire breakfast set up – I walked past it twice looking for something more substantial. The wine on offer is a dreadful Chardonnay no surprise. But there is a premium H/B rosé that is kind of quaffable.

Got to the St. Vincent Argyle airport EARLY so I could check out this lounge – but even though online it says it's open at 7 AM. It is not actually open until eight! Not sure I will actually have time to check it out but I will give it my best shot
And I'm back at American Airlines Admiral club! Sadly, my ticket to St. Vincent and the Grenadines does not allow access to the FAR spiffier chelsea or Greenwich lounge. The most festive item in the rather lean buffet are these donut holes…
