Started playing Persona 5 and my husband asked what it was about.
Me:“So it’s like magical girls, but not just girls, and it’s like Final Fantasy VII because they summon these personas in battle, but also it’s a high school relationship game that’s about taking down a pervy teacher.”
Didn’t help 😂

Went to an elementary school event and the kids had some time out on the playground. There had apparently been a battle fought with chalk about whether the 67 meme needs to die. “67” written and crossed out, over and over again, on the basketball court.
Watched Bob Roberts hours before the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran. It was a prescient gut punch when we watched it, doubly so now. Someone ask Tim Robbins his predictions for the next 40 years of U.S. politics
I counted at least 70 standing ovations and 5 chants of “USA” during last night’s State of the Union.
It sucked to watch, it was infuriating, but I think everyone should hear it. It was frightening and we need to know what their priorities are.

Those aren’t movies about men and I didn’t see Wicked
I love this so much
I don’t write more than 2 sentences 😅. My husband watches a lot more movies and writes better reviews. This is my favorite of his:

I want to hear about all these movies you enjoyed! I watched one movie, Friendship, that I despised, but then followed it up with Twinless which I adored. Also share your Letterboxd so I can see your reviews 🙂
His impression is killer
…and most of all - playing games with cool, creative friends 💕
Played Daggerheart again last night this time @dngnclub.itch.io running his homebrew setting on a time-traveling train. Highlights:
- Jack’s Owen Wilson impression
- Wes Anderson train car with an angry badger
- NYC subway car full of off-brand mascots in anti gravity…
You’re reminding me I never listened to Dadlands
TTRPG killjoys: “you can’t play a version of an established character from TV”
Me: “fuck you I’m playing Guinan as an orchid cactus and there’s nothing you can do about it”
Starbucks workers are STILL striking.
Here's some easy ways you can support us, with links in the replies:
Giancarlo Esposito “we are not the same” meme. Text reads “you cut Sonar because coupe had better stats. I cut Sonar because he’s voiced by MoistCritikal. We are not the same.”
#dispatch I can’t stand him
Lol yeah I was so confused when I got in trouble 😂
Fun story, my parents had a waterbed and when I was 4 years old I poked holes in it with a safety pin to see what would happen. My parents woke up wet in the middle of the night.
Shit me too, I’m bereft.
A golden award plaque with an engraving that reads "Single-Handedly Ruined TTRPGs - For improving the community by making it more inclusive and diverse (and making bigots mad)"
resharing this little award I made for everyone who is "ruining" the #TTRPG space 🤭
Spent some time browsing YouTube to discover new music and discovered these trends:
Jazz is back?
Almost pop punk
Dance moves inspired by David Byrne
"One, two, three, four
Tonight I'm gonna be a massive whore"

Did they even consider that left wing voters don’t consider themselves Democrats for the very reason that they aren’t left enough?
Saw Wake Up Dead Man yesterday, so good. I just want to highlight the scene with Bridget Everett playing Louise over the phone. Phenomenal acting that made me cry but also the scene is a touching and pivotal character moment.
Sorry should have tagged dev @jumpovertheage.com
Just finished playing Citizen Sleeper. That last choice I had to make had me sitting and thinking for 10 minutes, no joke. Love it when a game does this.
Also this game is basically a solo Blades in the Dark set on a space station.
It doesn’t sound like my personal cup of tea, but character building looks fun. If you’re interested, I covered it on the last episode of my podcast.
