Got my Favourite First Watches of 2024 list together. Managed 110 movies this year!
I think the only 5* I gave was to Mulholland Drive - after that, just a lot 4*s and other stuff I enjoyed for one thing or another 🙂

The amount of AI promotional advertisements I’m seeing these days is getting irritating. Nothing new to say as such, and it’s targeted advertising to a degree, but it’s the absolute drivel that is being wheeled out that is a total wind-up.

Definitely beneficial overall - Google’s own modules were great, but didn’t quite cover everything required for the emac IMO, so just as well I sought out extra content/mock exams etc.
Still, really interesting, I’d recommend it with some small caveats…

Pleased to share that I’ve obtained my ‘Professional Data Engineer’ certification from Google Cloud!
I’ve been quiet in the audio world since around July, pivoting to focus on this, so I’m pleased it’s done!

I’ve been studying for an upcoming Data Engineer exam. It’s been a long journey but I’m laughing because I’m rehearsing mock exams, and when I get answers right I say “fucking hell” to myself, as if I’m surprised that my revision is paying off
Finished a re-watch of Park Chan-Wook’s ‘Decision to Leave’ and already looking forward to watching it again soon.
