I wanted to do something other than handpainted textures & this is a bit different that what I usually do. I mixed PBR textures & handpainted textures for the assets & played around with the compositor nodes.

Made with Blender 5.0, Ucupaint & Procreate.

Food assets ( Nasi Lemak Bungkus x2, 2 Half boiled eggs, 2x black coffee, teh tarik x1, kopi susu x1, Half boiled egg with soy (small & big portion), Roti Telur, Roti with Butter, Kaya toast with butter) 3D in blender. Handpainted with Ucupaint & PBR.

I made this little demo in a few hours today just to see if I could achieve the sort of, midcentury off-kilter background art vibe.

They're just very simple geometries with some grease pencil, which has a subtle noise modifier on it.

Valentines Day is coming up, so how about a nice date in a cozy Café.

This was an artwork i didn't manage to finish for last years Valentine Day, so I'm posting it now. I had lots of fun working on it, since I always enjoy making pink artworks!

Clockwise: Gold can with Gold text engraved, a gold coin, a gold dice, a gold relic with glowing amethyst gem. Painted 2D

spent at least 1 hour a day to practice painting these days (and gold is a bit tricky for me)

lol this one made more sense on halloween when i made it in the hopes that doing a seasonal themed post would drum up some engagement on IG (it didnt). still like it tho

At long last, I have one unified shader so every surface can receive snow in a noisy pattern, limited by surface normal, blended via an (optional) heightmap, and reduced by both baked and dynamic heat sources

Now, I'm going to apply what i have learned to the model I've made in Blender with Ucupaint. I haven't painted 2D stuff for so long and I really enjoy doing this!
