This has been happening for years in Georgia, we’re well known for purging voter rolls. Seems like ERIC is broadening the amount of registrations being purged.

Duffy is wrong. You are wrong. Congestion pricing is good for transit riders and good for drivers who benefit from less traffic. Go back to economics 101, Mike

We continue to support the @USDOTFHWA'S decision to rescind approval of the program.

A spiral galaxy with one especially large sweeping, curving arm in view to the left. The galaxy's core glows golden. Pink clumps of ionized hydrogen and blue clusters of stars, along with dark dust lanes, are visible in the arms. Some of the galaxy is cut off to the right.

In case you were looking to backup your kindle books (since Amazon is removing the option to download them on the 26th), this script works quite well in minimizing the click-pain of downloading them individually:

American isolationism & the WHO What could possibly go wrong?

Cutting off all comms and collaborations with the WHO while RFK Jr giddily fundraises on the announcement is what MAHA has always been about.

I’m not a historian so I don’t know how many times in human history we’ve specifically celebrated a lack of knowledge, and overtly attacked science, knowledge and experience. But it seems like an especially bad thing for the future of our species and the world.

I’m sorry but the fact that Congress is about to throw immigrants under the bus at the very same time that countless immigrants in California are risking their lives to protect neighborhoods many of them could never aspire live in is breaking my brain in a whole new way.

Graphic explaining the math

Graphic explaining the math

If walking costs you $1, we all pay $0.01. If biking costs you $1, we all pay $0.08. If bussing costs you $1, we all pay $1.50. If driving costs you $1, we all pay $9.20. Via study that still underestimates climate cost.

This isn’t about choice. It’s about who pays for your choice.

I share Gov. Polis’ respect for personal choice and libertarian instincts on many issues. But public health is one of the purest public goods there is. Just like we need the state to enforce laws, we need the state to help prevent the spread of infectious disease.
