I was debating with myself when I should trim our weeping cherry tree. I thought “definitely not until after it’s done blooming, I don’t want to stress it out.” And that’s when I realized I have more respect for the rest cycles of a plant than I do my own.

I scratched out a quick 8x10 portrait yesterday. I’ve never attempted drawing a baby in this medium before, (it lends itself really well to wrinkles) but I’m happy with how it came out, and it only took about 9 hours so, huzzah!
