In addition to Trump's war with Iran, he has all but declared war on lifesaving medical research.
I'll keep fighting to protect funding to cure cancer and so much more, but we need an administration that isn't actively trying to sabotage things like Alzheimer's research.
How to end gerrymandering in 2 steps:
1) Gerrymander so aggressively that Republicans beg for mercy
2) Pass a national gerrymandering ban
How not to end gerrymandering:
Create independent districting commissions in blue states only

So much false equivalence in media on gerrymandering in Texas vs California & Virginia. California and Virginia maps approved by the voters. That's a huge difference not enough people pointing out

They think you're stupid.
Listen, they are building concentration camps and threatening genocide against a country of 90 million people. There is not a single remotely legal tactic that is impermissible when it comes to stopping them.
There must be zero tolerance for corruption in the Democratic party
Approval is still way too high
But this is progress
And we’re in Illinois so we haven’t even gotten to the low hanging fruit yet, like banning styrofoam and single use plastics
Still feels like there is a lot of room to go legislatively in terms of standardizing which plastics can be used and incentivizing recycled materials or compostable materials
Between that and a curbside recycling service (shoutout WasteNot Compost), I feel like we are actually diverting quite a bit of material from the garbage. Also trying to buy stuff with less packing, more recyclable/paper/compostable packing helps a lot too
Not sure how much an environmental impact it actually makes, but for some reason I wasn’t regularly recycling plastic films until relatively recently, but honestly it’s not that hard. Just keep a bag stashes somewhere that you can put the plastic films and periodically run it to the grocery store
They don’t care about him but people won’t stop asking them about him for some reason
Seems like that’s a case for fare assistance/fare exemption programs rather than eliminating fares altogether
From Australia:
"New research has found public transport fares have not been a decisive factor in pushing people to shift from car to public transport."
"Better public transport access, coverage, reliability, and travel time have a greater impact than price in changing long-term commuting habits."
Solid blue states really need to do a better job of putting up good candidates
US data centers consume 5-8% of US electricity generation (!) and generates $25 billion in external environmental costs

So you’re basically telling us that you’re a dumbass
The words "North Carolina," and "Missouri" do not appear in this piece of shit article.
Neither does the word "decade."
"Florida" and "Texas" appear in subordinate clauses, after words like "After Virginia ..." and "Gov. Gavin Newsom of California framed ..."
