I hear that if you aren't finding time to read the books on your desk and nightstand that you already desperately want to read ... it will make you feel better if you simply buy other ones.
You're welcome.
Thank you so much! *ponders low-crunch snack selection for optimum viewing*

I'm pissed that Starfleet Academy has clearly been targeted by anti-woke grifters in the same way Star Wars: The Acolyte. They're clearly laying the groundwork to go after it because it's a show in a Boomer scifi franchise with a diverse cast, not aimed at an older white male audience.
Critics want subtlety. Traumatized kids need clarity. Stranger Things doesn't win because it's subtle. It wins because it's not afraid to say the truth out loud to the people who need to hear it most. www.kameronhurley.com/we-are-the-s...
Enheduanna (c. 2285–2250 BCE) was a Sumerian high priestess, poet, and the first known author in history to sign her name to her literary works. The daughter of Sargon of Akkad, the founder of the Akkadian Empire, she served as the high priestess of the moon god Nanna in the city of Ur, a position that gave her both religious and political influence. Enheduanna is best known for her powerful hymns and poems, especially the Exaltation of Inanna, which praised the goddess of love and war. Her writings combined personal emotion, spiritual devotion, and political messaging, helping to unify Sumerian and Akkadian religious practices under her father’s expanding empire. Through her poetry, Enheduanna laid the foundation for later religious and literary traditions.

Open The Tongass to roads and logging and you don’t “manage” it….you flip it from carbon sink to carbon source. From old growth to degradation.
Once that happens, there is no restoration timeline that matters.

That took a lot of staring and squinting and trying to mentally erase the specs. It was his eyes and his jawline that finally clued me in. He's aged very well from the pretty boy he was in one of my favourite 1994 movies.
My brain is broke. I need to find this film!
I can't choose and you can't make me! I love them all. Kurt Russell & Wilfred Brimley; Donald Pleasance & Victor Wong; Sam Neill & Jürgen Prochnow, w bonus David Warner! Damn, now I watch to watch them all again again. 💜

Sigourney Weaver sporting POWERFUL he/him lesbian energy in a black and white promo photo. She's wearing a dark three-piece, pinstripe suit with a dark tie and white shirt. Her hair is slicked back in a 60s-style men's haircut, and her face is shadowed.
