You are very welcome although I’d hardly call myself an SUD specialist. I do know some, have treated folks in the throes of their dependency and have even walked alongside care-givers in the midst of their own struggles. Excited to read your next project.
3) As a clinician, it was Chapter 25's empathetic exploration of substance use disorder and origins of AA that completely floored me. Brava and thank you once again.
2) I, however, didn't anticipate the carefully researched description of the Keaton adjacent individuals, with Chapter 11's attempt to render a modicum of justice for Roscoe Arbuckle and Chapter 18's tale of the connections between screenwriting and historic presidential addresses.
Just finished Camera Man. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I came for the lovingly rendered portrait of a film visionary, hurled (often literally as a child by his pops) into the limelight and witness to the birth and evolution of a new medium.
Doing my first play through now and loving it.
@mattsinger.bsky.social possibly some additional evidence to support my off the wall ‘Take Shelter’ theory. Great meeting you in person at Filmspotting Fest!

Thanks, Ruth! It’s been a fun project to work on. The key was developing a clinical stewardship decision support (CSDS) framework and aligning incentives to drive engagement. The best part? It was just a pilot! Excited to see what a broader implementation might look like.

Just took receipt of a little X-mas present to myself. Brian Eno and Peter Schmidt’s collection of cards to help work through creative dilemmas. Seen during a showing of the documentary, ‘Eno’ at Art Blocks Marfa, late last year.
Started watching From based on this rec. Simultaneously thoughtful and brutal. I’m very much enjoying it and reminds me of some of the opening narratives of Flanagan’s Midnight Mass, which I adored.
Loving this - I’ve heard a ton of great things about this game.
(2/2) - and after doing some research, I came across this glorious translation in English for the world to enjoy. thirukkural133.wordpress.com/contents/ #thanksDad #thankyouinternet
(1/2) I had a conversation with my Dad over breakfast today about South Indian poets. He pointed me in the direction of the Tamilian author Valluvar. Think Meditations by Marcus Aurelius, but broader and focused on thee main areas: virtue, wealth and love. I’ve spent the last hour fawning over it.
well, this was even easier than i thought it’d be
