We experimented with a new rule today at baseball called the Roving Bucket.

It’s where one of your outfielders plays defense with a five gallon bucket instead of a glove and it’s worth two outs if they catch a ball with the bucket.

Imagine if every sport had WWE -style storylines. Some dude hits a home run and his pregnant wife is waiting for him at home plate to tell him on mic that the other team's pitcher might be the father. Whoever wins the game determines who raises the kid.

Popups are boring. Baseball needs to be played indoors with a ceiling about 15 feet high. Those popups are real exciting now

If you hit a ball that hits the wall, it's usually a double, but hitting it over the wall is a home run? Ridiculous. That should be a ground rule triple. It still scores all the runners on base, but you have to actually run at least 90 feet to score.

It's not fair that getting on base isn't reflected in the score unless you make it home. You should get a run for each base taken by a runner.

Foul ball poles need to sway in the wind. If the wind is pulling the balls artificially, the foul ball poles should compensate

Baseball needs an enforcer position. An unrostered guy who takes care of business. League minimum plus healthcare is a cheap price to pay for the other team losing their ace pitcher before the start of a playoff series.
