Yep! We train our children like this from birth (generalization). The uncritical belief in our religion/team/political party has raised a multitude of generations who will not think critically of themselves, but just believe in their “side.” This is our real national tragedy. Tribalism.

I agree with all of David’s points here. We need massive changes to our system of government. What we have now is NOT for the people, but for the people in power, at our expense.

I love your post, but I have to disagree with one point. The real issue is why don’t Republicans hold their people to the same standards? It’s basic human decency. Something which they ALL apparently lack.

Yep. The effect of having more money is not linear. Tax rates should reflect that. Personally I think we should have a lower limit, below which people are not taxed, as well as more progressive tiers above.

He’ll just sit up there and roast them the entire time. Pretty good odds on it.

CBS can pound sand. Blocked on all platforms, same as NYT, etc.

And yet instead of blocking and boycotting, the New York Times people keep linking their articles. 🤔

And yet so many on this platform continue to support the New York Times by posting links to their articles. The only way to push back against them is to block their channels and don’t read their media.

It’s fine. T-bag is rectifying this “problem” by lowering equities across the board. Easy peasy!

Think about this critically. How could a bunch of ICE agents standing around possibly help clear TSA check line congestion? Does that make any sense?

A titan of vaccine development sees his field’s achievements slip away Stanley Plotkin, the 93-year-old "godfather of vaccines," is watching his field’s achievements slip away.

“In a pair of recent interviews with STAT, Plotkin expressed dismay at seeing the achievements of his career & his field slip away. He knows what lies ahead…
“All I can say is that I’m beginning to regret having lived so long —because we’re going downhill,” Plotkin said” @jackiantonovich.bsky.social

The idiotic legacy of Richard Reid lives on. She sucks, but so does the TSA shoe fetish. It’s just dumb having us take our shoes off.

And yet a shit ton of large dem/left accounts will continue to post links to New York Times articles. I don’t care if the link is a freebie, people shouldn’t be posting NYT links and we shouldn’t be clicking them unless we support what they support.

I implored a lot of the large accounts I follow to not continue to stay there, to no avail. Same goes for posting links to Washington Post and New York Times, among others.

When I woke up after mine, that was the most rested, I’ve felt in at least a decade. No exaggeration. Prep wasn’t terrible. It was just… gross.
